This outdoorsy adventure kicks off with a hike through the Belizean jungle to a thrilling suspension bridge -- one of several elements on this exciting adventure.
Begin with a quick zip-line through an open-air cave and across the jungle canopy of a deep canyon. Still on the zip-line, you'll enter the vast Tiger Cave's entrance, passing between huge stalactites and landing on a platform high above the cave floor. Before exiting, your guide will lead you into the Sacred Chamber, where ancient Shamans performed ceremonies to the underworld gods. View ancient pottery dating from the Classic period (AD 200 - 800). Exit the Tiger Cave via another suspension bridge. The next line takes you high above the canopy and over Indian Creek.
An exhilarating incline rappel returns you to the ground. The incline rappel at the end of the exclusive tour is optional or guests can finish ascending on a hanging bridge running parallel to the stream.
A few feet away, life vests and river tubes await. Your Darknight Cave tubing adventure begins with you hopping into the cool, crystal-clear water of Indian Creek. Soon, you're floating through the jungle and entering the Darknight Cave. Look back to see the entrance silhouetted before you turn the corner. Using your headlamp, watch as your guide points out the different formations during the relaxing float. Every curve will bring a new vista, and the cave narrows at the exit for a brisk finish. View photos of yourself and your group.
Head to the Hell Gate Bar & Restaurant -- a beautiful thatch structure at the confluence of the Sibun and Caves Branch Rivers. This is a great spot to unwind with lunch and a picturesque view.
Notes:
