Indulge your inner Jacques Cousteau and experience the island's undersea wonders up close with this sailing, snorkeling and swimming adventure. Transfer to your sailing trimaran, Aquaspace, featuring an underwater semi-sub observation deck with floor-to-ceiling views of life beneath the ocean's surface.
In the crystalline waters of the Bonaire National Marine Park -- one of the world's most successful marine protected areas -- Aquaspace drifts among protected reefs. From the underwater viewing gondola, you'll encounter spectacular views of the delicate fringing corals inhabited by a dazzling array of colorful tropical fish, including tangs, parrot fish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish moving gracefully among the currents in a silent underwater ballet.
Slip into the warm, azure waters for snorkeling and swimming. Keep a keen eye out for elusive moray eels, sea turtles, sea horses, and rays.
Back on the boat, bask in the Caribbean sun with ice-cold beverages and sail back along the coastline.
Notes:
Bar includes three drinks per person (choice of beer, wine and nonalcoholic drinks). Snorkeling participants must know how to swim. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Bring a towel and adequate sun protection. Wear non-marking soft soles. Snorkel vests are provided and must be worn. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart condition, asthma, and/or are recovering from surgery are not allowed to participate. Minimum age is 8 years. Maximum weight is 250 lbs.
