Relax and enjoy a panoramic drive to the north side of Bonaire island. You'll stop at a place called A Thousand Steps -- popular among divers and snorkelers -- for photos of its coastal surroundings.
At the Goto Lake Flamingo Sanctuary, take photos from the coach. The visual landscape includes spectacular views of the countryside and, often, wild flamingos in a brilliant shade of pink. The natural color palette here is quite sensational.
Rincon is one of the oldest settlements in the Netherlands Antilles. It is home to the Mangazina di Rei Cultural Historical Park, the former King's storehouse (1824), where provisions for the government slaves were stored. After a short introduction to this historic building, enjoy seeing the stories of Bonaire's cultural heritage come to life in the Rincon exhibition. Learn how to build a cactus fence, participate in a music workshop, and play on traditional handcrafted instruments with a local musician.
Next, visit Seru Largu Mountain, the island's highest lookout point. From here, take in Bonaire's best island views, which include the ultra-blue Caribbean Sea, the off-shore uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire, and the pretty capital -- Kralendijk.
