Hop on a tuk-tuk at the pier and head through the island's capital -- Kralendijk. Originally from Thailand and used as mini taxis, Bonaire's tuk-tuks are powered by an emissions-free and environmentally friendly electric motor.
In Kralendijk, you'll see the small Fort Orange, built in 1639 to defend Bonaire's main harbor. Your tuk-tuk will pass the town square and wind through the streets of the town so you can take in the local life.
Stop to visit the island's most prominent church before following the scenic route along the ocean boulevard back to the pier.
