Explore Aruba's countryside from an air-conditioned motorcoach on an excursion that travels to the California Lighthouse, Natural Bridge and Casibari Rock Formations, as well as an Ostrich Farm.
It is a 30-minute drive to the California Lighthouse on Aruba's windward coast through the island's arid terrain of cacti, divi-divi trees, iguanas and wild goats.
Visit the 'baby' natural bridge -- a small bridge of rock formed naturally by the wind and the erosion by the sea. This bridge is located right next to the famous larger bridge that collapsed in 2005. You can still see the remains of the bridge whose demise devastated the locals.
The Casibari Rock Formations are giant boulders lying heaped about the landscape.
Your final stop is at the Ostrich Farm, where you can learn about the lifecycle of these flightless birds. If you wish, you can feed them for a perfect photo op.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must return to the ship on their own.
Notes:
Ostriches are shameless thieves who help themselves to anything that looks bright and fun; remove your jewelry and other shiny objects while at the farm and keep them safe.
