Step up into an open-air 4x4 vehicle with an experienced driver, buckle up and get ready for a heart-racing adventure. This off-road safari is the only way to access Aruba's famous Natural Pool and its refreshing crystal-clear waters. You will bounce, twist and turn through the desert cunucu terrain. En route, you will see the Baby Natural Bridge, the mysterious Gold Mine ruins and a drive by the California Lighthouse.
The Natural Pool in Arikok National Park beckons you to venture down the steep terrain on foot to reach the pool. This is a rugged climb down to the pool carved from the lava rocks over the centuries. Once there, you can swim or snorkel (snorkel gear provided).
Afterward, hop back into the 4x4 vehicle and head off-road to the Bushiribana Gold Mine ruins. Take photos and explore before you head back to Oranjestad.
Notes:
This tour requires energetic participation and walking over uneven and steep terrain. Ride will be bumpy. Guests who are pregnant or have a heart, back, kidney or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Minimum age is 8 years. Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes. Bring aqua shoes. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. In the event of rough seas, swimming in the natural pool may not be possible; an alternative location for swimming will be offered. Swim at your own risk.
