Explore the full beauty of Aruba on a tour that takes you around the island and under the sea.
Board a transfer boat and skim across azure waters to the Seaworld Explorer state-of-the-art semi-submarine. This remarkable vessel does not fully submerge; rather, you descend into the hull of the vessel and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water.
View amazing sea life from this cruising underwater observatory. Large, clear glass windows offer views of the wreck of the Antilla, a 440-foot World War II German and the Caribbean's largest shipwreck.
Return to shore for a panoramic drive to the California Lighthouse, where you can admire the magnificent view of the crashing waves of the windward coast and the tranquil waters of the leeward shore.
From here, continue to the awesome Casibari Rock Formations and climb the rock gardens to the top of the highest boulder. You will then visit the Baby Natural Bridge -- a bridge of rock formed by the wind and sea. Finally, keep an eye out for the gold mill ruins at Boca Mahos en route back to Oranjestad, Aruba's capital.
Notes:
The walk from the bus to the pier is 300 yards each way. Participants must be able to navigate 10 steps in and out of the Seaworld Explorer.
