Roam the countryside of Antigua by open-air safari vehicle for an encounter with the island's rich history and natural beauty.
Begin at the lush, tropical Body Pond area. Your open-air safari vehicle easily climbs to the peak of Shirley Heights and the Blockhouse Ruins -- two lookout points for spectacular views and even better photos.
A short panoramic drive brings you back down to Nelson's Dockyard -- the only Georgian naval dock in the world and a distinctly Antiguan landmark. Tour the dockyard and its restored buildings and museum with your knowledgeable guide.
Your final destination is Turner Beach. Savor a tasty lunch at a beachfront restaurant. Refreshed, enjoy free time to swim or stroll along the shoreline before driving back to the city and the ship.
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Minimum age is 4 years. Maximum weight is 350 lbs.
