Discover ancient pyramids on this full-day journey, as your guide leads you through the former capital of the Maya empire. Chichen Itza is considered the most important archaeological site of the Yucatan. At the ruins, you will see the ball court, El Castillo, the Pyramid of Kukulkan, and the Temple of the Warriors. This is a stunning site and a bucket-list-worthy destination.
Next, descend into the sacred Ikkil Cenote. One of Mexico's most breathtaking natural wonders, this ancient reservoir is situated close to the famous Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. One of the most striking features of Cenote Ikkil is its sheer beauty.
The water is deep, crystal clear, and surrounded by lush vegetation, including vines and ferns. Take a quick swim in the cool water that comes from the underground. The Maya consider it sacred; you'll find it quite surreal.
Enjoy a delicious Mayan lunch buffet at a beautiful restaurant, featuring a variety of local dishes such as rice, beans, fresh salad, spaghetti, chicken, fish, Yucatan pork, bread, tortillas, seasonal fruit, and homemade desserts.
