Terminal Information
Town of Whittier is only accessible by one way tunnel. Traffic out of town is at top of hour, traffic into town is on 1/2hr. Tunnel is closed 11p.m. - 7a.m. Ship arrival time is 12:30a.m. but first guest transfer out of Whittier does not leave till 7p.m. The town is very small (around 300 people), there is no public transportation, taxis, or Uber/Lyft available in town.

Departs from Whittier at 9:10a.m.
Approx distance is 600ft from Ship to Train loading area
Guests can purchase cruisetrain upgrade onboard ship
Luggage will be transported separately to guests next destination (Airport, Hospitality Center, or Hotel if booked through HAL)
Must have flights after 2:30p.m.
Train Arrival in Anchorage is approx 11:30a.m.
Train Arrives in lot across the street from Anchorage Downtown Train Depot
Guests will be transferred from train by Motorcoach to Airport or Hospitality Center
***Anchorage to Whittier
Train Departs Anchorage at 12:45p.m.
Transfers are available from Anchorage Airport, Hospitality Center, & HAL Hotels /Guests will be checked in for the Cruise onboard the train. **Independent guests should meet at the airport or hospitality center no later than 11a.m; NOT the Alaska Railroad deport.
Luggage will be transported separately to the Cruise Ship / Train arrives into Whittier at 3:15p.m.

There is no public parking at the pier.
Luggage
Guests with a Holland America transfer: Check luggage when check in for transfer at either the airport or hospitality center. It will be trucked to Whitter, separate from the guest, and delivered to their stateroom onboard. Guests who arrive at the port independently will be able to check their luggage at the “Baggage Drop Off” area before entering the terminal.

Distance: 65 miles (1 ½ hours depending on traffic. Including adjustment for tunnel opening timing)

Airport Transfers
South Terminal @ Baggage Claim 1.
Meet/Greet Service between 8a.m. and 3p.m.
Transfers start at 12p.m. and leave every hour until 4p.m.
Passes for transfers are given out on first come first serve basis.
Standby coach for late transfers at 5p.m. for any guests that are delayed.
Guests who arrive prior to turnaround can take the shuttle from Egan Centre to Whittier (11:45a.m. & 1p.m. departures).
