Board a MEGA truck -- an extra-large open-air vehicle designed to travel where no bus can -- for a journey through the Dominican Republic landscape to Puerto Plata. Get the full picture of Dominican life, history, culture, and folklore.
You'll travel through the rugged hills of Puerto Plata, experiencing stunning views of the mountains and beaches. Stopping in local villages, learn about life on the island as you taste fresh coffee and chocolate, and learn the art of rolling cigars.
After gaining an appreciation for the people of the Dominican Republic, indulge in a buffet-style lunch of authentic Dominican cuisine.
Finally, relax on the beautiful beach of secluded Coconut Cove.

Amenities include a beach bar, waiter service, beach chairs, a volleyball court, bathrooms, lockers, a bar and a covered seating area. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Bring cash or credit card for additional purchases. Terrain includes 33 stair steps to access the beach. The property is not wheelchair-accessible. Participants must be able to climb the MEGA truck ladder. Ride will be bumpy; guests who are pregnant or have a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Minimum age is 6 years.
