Holland America Line continues to build on its premium beverage program with the evolution of its Single Barrel Series, introducing an expanded collection of highly allocated bourbons and ryes for 2026.
Following last year’s expansion to nine single barrels, the program grew in 2026 with 13 distinct single barrel selections sourced from some of the most sought-after distilleries. These rare offerings are available in the Ocean Bar across the fleet, where guests can explore a curated range of spirits defined by unique flavor profiles, craftsmanship and origin.
What sets Holland America Line’s Single Barrel Series apart is its access. The beverage team works directly with leading distilleries to secure single barrels that are typically difficult for consumers to find. Many of these are often reserved for collectors, with limited availability in restaurants, bars or stores. Through the single barrel offerings, guests can experience these exceptional spirits onboard in an approachable and memorable way.
“With the Single Barrel Series, we’re bringing rare single-barrel selections to our guests in a way they may not typically experience,” said Drew Foulk, director of food and beverage revenue and innovation for Holland America Line. “These barrels often end up with retailers or collectors, but we’re changing that model by making them available onboard for guests to enjoy during their cruise. It gives our guests the opportunity to explore a range of different expressions and profiles they may not encounter anywhere else.”
The 2026 collection showcases a diverse lineup of bourbons and ryes, each selected for its depth and individuality. Highlights include:

Together, the expanded collection reinforces Holland America Line’s commitment to offering rare and distinctive spirits that are not widely accessible through traditional channels.
Complementing the Single Barrel Series is Holland America Line’s partnership with Jefferson’s Bourbon, which adds an additional dimension to the program through ocean-aged bourbon. As barrels age aboard each of Holland America Line’s 11 ships, the movement and changing conditions at sea influence the flavor, creating a spirit that is directly shaped by the voyage itself. Once matured, the barrels will be offloaded, bottled and returned to the fleet, where guests will be able to enjoy them onboard beginning in 2027.
Together, these initiatives reflect Holland America Line’s ongoing focus on delivering thoughtful, high-quality beverage experiences that align with its refined onboard atmosphere and global itineraries.
