Embark on a vibrant family escapade to the Celestun Biosphere Reserve, a birdwatcher's dream with a symphony of more than 300 bird species, including the star attraction — radiant pink flamingos.
Set sail on a 1½-hour boat journey to prime flamingo-spotting territories, gliding under the cover of majestic mangrove tunnels and listening to the tranquil sounds of nature.
Pause at a serene freshwater cenote, where an oasis-like allure surrounds crystal-clear waters.
Beachside serenity awaits at a charming local eatery, where a fantastic lunch is served.
Later, at the beach, you may choose to immerse yourself in the soothing ocean waves or lounge contentedly on sun-kissed sands.
Notes:
Minimum age is 6 years. Travel time is approximately 1¾ hours each way. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind is allowed) and a hat. To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Swim at your own risk. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations.
