Say hello to fantastic Nordfjord — created by glaciers, dominated by Vikings and, now, paddled by you.
Kayaking on a green fjord in a quiet valley surrounded by steep mountains, waterfalls, and blue glaciers makes for a memorable experience.
Starting from the old Mølla guest house on the pier in Olden, you'll get kitted out and learn the dos and don'ts of kayaking. Then, it's all aboard as you head out into the fjord. Follow the contours of the shoreline as you paddle, and your guide will share some local knowledge about the fjords and glaciers all around you. In the distance, you'll see waterfalls, glaciers and green mountainsides.
Notes:
Double kayaks are used. Tour includes approximately two hours of kayaking. Minimum age is 12 years. Tour operates rain or shine, but may be canceled by the operator in the event of extreme weather or unsuitable conditions. You will get wet; bring a change of clothing and footwear. Prior experience not required; beginners are welcome. Participants must be able to swim. Not suitable for those with a fear of water. The fjord water will be very cold.
