Thanksgiving Favorites While at Sea

While sailing over Thanksgiving, guests can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast from the leisure of the ship, away from cooking, chores and stress. The Dining Room offers a robust menu with an array of fall flavors for Thanksgiving dinner, including a selection of traditional Thanksgiving turkey with cranberries and sweet potatoes. The menu also features two new fresh fish dishes from Holland America’s Global Fresh Fish Ambassador Chef Masaharu Morimoto for an additional fee.

Here are a few Thanksgiving menu highlights:

Thanksgiving Appetizers: Golden Beets, Apples and Tarragon; Shrimp Cocktail; Escargots Bourguignon; Roasted Pumpkin Soup; Chilled Spiced Apple and Carrot Soup; Bibb Lettuce Salad with Red beets; Classic Caesar Salad.

Thanksgiving Main Course: Traditional Thanksgiving Turkey with cranberries, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes; Beef Tenderloin with Apple Rosti; Roasted Black Cod; Honey-Baked Ham; Mushroom Ravioli with Sage; New York Striploin Steak; Roasted Garlic Herb Chicken; Apricot Glazed Salmon; Morimoto’s Red Miso Snapper; Morimoto’s Lobster 2 Ways.

Thanksgiving Dessert: Pumpkin Pie; Apple and Pear Pie; Chocolate Pecan Pie; Apple Cranberry Crisp.
