Prinsendam Transits the Kiel Canal
This past weekend Prinsendam went through the Kiel Canal, a 98 kilometer-long (61 miles) channel in northern Germany.
A view of the Kiel Canal.
The pilot boat arrives for a pilot change half-way through the channel.
Not that much space to pass each other.
Underneath the railway bridge they have installed a car ferry.
The restaurant next to the bridge plays the national anthem of the flag state of the cruise ship that passes by.
A view of the area we sail through.
Jaap Wisse is the chief engineer aboard Prinsendam.

Hi Sara,
The photos are showing up bright and natural on our computers. Cloudy skies with blue poking through. I am not sure why they are dark for you.
