Kayaking in Halifax, Nova Scotia
With great trepidation about the weather, eight of us set out to go sea kayaking in Halifax. It’s about a 45 minute ride to the outfitter’s through the delightful countryside. Despite the chill and lack of sun we arrived to find glass-smooth water awaiting us. The clarity of the water was amazing as you can see in the photos. We got into some small coves normally not available because of the swells. Our guides, Peter and Andre, were delightful and informative and awaiting us on our return was a snack of fresh cooked mussels, fruit and cookies. I would do it again in a minute and I found the kayak I am going to buy on my return home — an Epsilon p200. It made me feel like a pro!

Cool! I love Nova Scotia and would like to return.
My husband and I were two of the seven people kayaking with Joanne. I found us in one of the photos! We had a wonderful time and this excursion was one of the highlights of our cruise.
Definitely a must-do in Halifsx. Glad you liked it, Janet
