Every Day is Mother’s Day When You’re Cruising!
This Sunday is Mother’s Day in many countries around the world, and it’s a day when families come together to celebrate mom. But in more ways than one, moms are honored all year by their families and loved ones. Many times that celebration comes in the form of travel, and there’s no better way to relax and have some fun with mom than on a Holland America Line cruise.
The reason why cruising with mom, or anyone for that matter, is so much fun is because cruising is easy. Culinary options are endless and the variety is sure to please every palate, entertainment is at your fingertips, you wake up in a new port every day while only unpacking one time and mom is relieved of cleaning duties!
There also are so many activities that there’s something for everyone. Whether is spending time in the spa, relaxing on deck, attending a cooking demonstration in the Culinary Arts Center presented by Food & Wine, taking in a lecture from an acclaimed expert, testing your luck at the casino, watching a movie or learning how to do the cha cha at a “Dancing with the Stars: At Sea” dance class, families can stick together or go their separate ways and reunite later to catch up on their day.
We asked our Facebook fans to share their favorite photos and memories of cruising with mom, and some wonderful responses were posted. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful women out there who play the role of mom, grandma, aunt, sister, friend and anyone in your life worthy of celebrating.
