If you haven’t had the chance to cruise aboard Koningsdam yet and the photos are leaving you wanting more, the wait is over. Here are four incredible virtual tours of some of the most popular venues on the ship: Queen’s Lounge, World Stage, Sel de Mer and Blend.

QUEEN’S LOUNGE:
The iconic Queen’s Lounge on Koningsdam has been completely reimagined as an elegant theater and entertainment venue that spans two floors. Inspired by music, the design of the room is a nod to the curves of a violin and features extensive use of wood, fluid waveforms and light. With state-of-the-art technology, the Queen’s Lounge is the home of the B.B. King’s Blues Club All-Star Band and also showcases world-class musicians. It features the largest dance floor on the ship, making it the perfect venue for learning to salsa or waltz.

WORLD STAGE:
Entertainment meets innovation in World Stage, the ship’s main theater, that features a 270-degree surround LED wall, a first for the line. Breaking from traditional theater-style seating to nearly in the round, Koningsdam’s guests are more immersed in the sights and sounds of every performance that uses the panoramic screens to enhance the experience. At two stories high and 250 feet long, the high-definition LED screens make World Stage a trend-setting theater at sea capable of showcasing an exciting array of performances and productions.

SEL DE MER:
New to Koningsdam is Sel de Mer, an intimate French seafood brasserie. Located next to the popular Pinnacle Grill, Sel de Mer, or “salt of the sea” in French, serves a classic selection of French seafood dishes with a contemporary twist — from fresh oysters, seafood chowder and fruits de mer to salt-crusted whole fish, scallops and bouillabaisse. Sel de Mer re-creates a setting reminiscent of the finest French brasseries where waiters are traditionally dressed and guests may choose their evening meal from a selection of fresh fish and shell fish displayed on ice in the center of the room.

BLEND:
In collaboration with Chateau Ste. Michelle, a leading Washington state winery, Blend — the first of its kind for Holland America Line and the only purpose-built wine-blending venue at sea — features a tasting table that accommodates 10 guests who can create their own mixture from a selection of five barrels of single-vineyard red wine. In addition to participating in the blending process, guests also learn about wine from the ship’s cellar master who leads the blending session. After guests create their own label, the wine is sent to The Dining Room or other dinner outlet where it will be waiting for the guests at mealtime, or guests can take it to their stateroom to enjoy at their leisure.
