Embark on a scenic journey into the southernmost national park in Argentina, where rugged landscapes and pristine ecosystems converge at the end of the world.
Your excursion begins with a coach ride from the pier, traveling through Ushuaia’s suburbs and crossing the Pipo River Valley en route to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Established to preserve the unique sub-Antarctic Forest, this protected area offers stunning views of the Andes and rich biodiversity, including rivers, lakes, peat bogs, and a wide variety of birds.
Your first stop is Ensenada Bay, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Redonda Island and the Chilean Navarino and Hoste islands across the Beagle Channel. Take in the peaceful scenery and snap a few photos before continuing on a narrow road surrounded by untouched nature.
Next, visit Roca Lake and enjoy a short coastal walk to learn about local plant life. You’ll also stop at the Alakush Visitor Center, where restrooms, souvenirs, and regional handicrafts are available.
The final highlight of your tour is Lapataia Bay—a breathtaking location where the Pan-American Highway ends. This quiet bay marks the southernmost point in the world reachable by road and offers a profound sense of place for your memorable photo stop.
