Day 1 (L/D) Keelung - Yilan
Leave the ship this morning and meet up with your English-speaking guide. Aboard an air-conditioned motorcoach, you’ll head to Yilan via Asia’s second-longest highway tunnel -- the Hsuehshan Tunnel.
Your destination is Yilan Park and the National Center for Traditional Arts. This is your chance to admire the diverse traditional Taiwanese cultures in crafts, aerobatics, theatre, music, and dance. Here you will also enjoy lunch at the restaurant within the park.
Next, drive to Kavalan Distillery -- pioneers of single malt whisky in Taiwan. This region has the perfect climate for distilling high-quality whisky. The Kavalan Distillery, opened in 2005, is Taiwan’s first and only family-owned whisky distillery, and it draws from the region’s pure water and fresh air -- ideal conditions for whisky production. Surrender yourself to Taiwanese whisky culture and craftsmanship with a distillery tour and tasting.
Finally, transfer to a hot-springs resort to enjoy both a cold spring and hot spring dip -- perhaps the perfect opportunity to relax after a long journey.
Dinner is served at the resort.

Day 2 (B/L) Yilan - Keelung
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Suao fishing harbor -- one of the three largest fishing harbors in Taiwan. With its natural landform, Suao boasts rich marine resources and a large fish auction is held here seasonally.
Don’t miss the Mazu Temple dedicated to the goddess Mazu who watches over people working at sea. The Mazu statue here is made with pure gold.
Visit a tea plantation to pick tea leaves and learn how to pan-fire, roll, and taste them. These activities form the tea culture of Yilan and are passed down from generation to generation.
Return to Keelung and reboard the ship there.

Minimum age is 18 years. Bring sturdy non-skid walking shoes. The tour is guided; an escort from the ship’s staff may or may not also accompany the group.
