Holland America Line Unveils New Beach Club and Food Pavilion at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay
Guests will experience enhancements on more than two dozen Caribbean itineraries in advance of RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay’s 30th anniversary celebration in 2027
Seattle, Wash., Sept. 22, 2026 — Guests sailing on Holland America Line’s Caribbean cruises this season will discover a refreshed RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, where a series of newly completed enhancements brings even more ways to relax, dine and enjoy the island. The transformation marks the beginning of a yearlong celebration leading up to the destination’s 30th anniversary in 2027.
Among the most notable additions are a new food pavilion serving an island-inspired barbecue menu, and an exclusive Beach Club experience, offering guests new ways to dine and unwind ashore. Additional enhancements include upgraded cabanas, refreshed clamshells and daybeds, renovated bars and eateries, and pickleball courts introduced last season. Together, the updates build on the island experience that has made RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay a guest favorite for nearly three decades.

RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay Enhancements
The new Beach Club pairs Holland America Line’s signature palette of blue, orange and cream with natural textures and relaxed, open-air spaces, for a setting that feels distinctly Caribbean. Guests who purchase a day pass for the Beach Club, which will be available for booking in early October, will receive priority tendering from the ship to the island. The Beach Club will also feature dedicated waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, included beach accessories, specialty food and beverage offerings, and other special surprise moments.
Outside of the Beach Club, a new food pavilion will offer a complimentary island-only menu of favorites, and existing bars and eateries are being renovated. Cabanas are being upgraded, and the beach area will offer more daybeds. Upgraded canopy loungers for two and additional beach chairs create more space to unwind, while four pickleball courts add another way for guests to enjoy time ashore.
