What dining venues do you have?
Holland America Line offers multiple onboard dining venues, including the Elegant Dining Room, Pinnacle Grill, and casual options like the Lido, plus 24-hour room service, snacks, and special meal accommodations with advance notice.
Elegant Dining Room
The Elegant Dining Room offers a multi-course dining experience, with menus that include classic preparations, regionally inspired cuisine, vegetarian options, and more.
Dining style options
Flexible open dining: Open dining times are 5:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You can make reservations by calling the dining reservation number on board, or you can arrive during dining hours.
Classic pre-set dining: Traditional pre-set dining times are 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. You may request seating time, table size, and who you wish to dine with before sailing through your travel advisor. Table number and table size are assigned by the Maitre d on board, and the status of your seating request appears on your Cruise Contract. Your seating assignment will be noted on your guest card upon boarding.
Timing note: Ships may adjust dining times by up to 30 minutes, at their discretion.
Selection timing: You choose either flexible open dining or classic pre-set dining at the time of booking.
The Pinnacle Grill experience
Pinnacle Grill is an intimate dining experience featuring Double R Ranch Beef and fresh seafood, in a setting with luxurious appointments.

The Lido with fresh, cooked-to-order specialties for breakfast and lunch.

Special diets and meals
Some special dietary needs can be accommodated only with advance notification, including: kosher, Passover Seder dinner, salt-free, fat-free, baby food, diabetic, and other special dietary needs.
How to request special meals:
Contact the Ship Services Department at (800) 541-1576 or email hal_ship_services@hollandamerica.com at least 90 days prior to departure.

Requests must be received no later than 90 days prior to sail date.

Holland America Line may substitute products when specified brands are not available, and an additional charge may apply. Please reconfirm special requests with the Maitre d after you board.
Kosher meals are prepared off the ship in a kosher kitchen, frozen, and served sealed in their original containers. There is no kosher kitchen on board, and the ship does not have kosher dishes, utensils, pots, or pans, so cooking facilities onboard are not considered kosher.
