What should I do if my credit card payment isn’t working?

Your payment typically succeeds once your card details and billing information match exactly what your bank has on file. If it doesn’t go through, don’t panic; it’s probably either a simple error or technical issue.

Check the essentials first

Confirm the name on the card, the card number, the expiration date, the CVV, and the billing address are entered precisely, including abbreviations, punctuation, and ZIP code formatting. More often than not, mismatched information is the culprit.

Rule out a quick technical hiccup

Open a new browser window, try again without saved autofill, and temporarily turn off any VPN or ad-blocking tools that could interfere with the payment screen. If you are on a phone, switching to a desktop browser can help, too.
