This audio-guided tour introduces you the UNESCO World Heritage Site city of Angra do Heroísmo.
Set off on a panoramic drive across the center of the island towards Angra do Heroísmo. Enjoy a brief photo stop at Pico das Cruzinhas viewpoint on the way, offering panoramas of the city and surrounding landscape. Some antique artillery left here from World War point of interest.
You will stop at the Obelisco da Memória -- an memorial constructed in 1856 in honor of Emperor Don Pedro IV, also featuring great views of the city.
The drive to and through Angra do Heroísmo, Praia da Vitoria's pretty capital, passes 20-30 points of interest, narrated by the audio system.
Return to Praia da Vitória harbor along the southwest coast, pausing for photos at several key sites -- the Miradouro da Serretinha viewpoint, the small picturesque village of Porto Judeu, the Bays of Salga and Mós, the Maria Vieira Church, the Porto Martins rock formations, and Império e Igreja de São Sebastião Chapel.
