Relax and enjoy a panoramic drive through Manhattan. You'll view the Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Theatre District, the Empire State Building and St Patrick's Cathedral from the comfort of your coach.
Travel through New York neighborhoods such as trendy Greenwich Village, Little Italy, the Financial District and Fifth Avenue with its designer stores and boutiques. You'll also see glimpses of Central Park, which covers some 843 acres at the core of this bustling metropolis and provides the people of the city with a green oasis.
The highlight of your New York exploration will be visiting the 9/11 Memorial. Consisting of two enormous pools and 30-foot waterfalls set within the original footprints of the Twin Towers, the Memorial is a fluid and serene tribute to the victims of the attacks of September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993. The names of the 2,982 men, women and children killed on those two fateful days are inscribed in bronze on parapets around the edges of the waterfalls.
Afterward, you'll drive to Battery Park (time permitting), where you can catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty in the distance.
Your tour ends with a drive through the pulsing streets of New York before you return to the pier.
