Walk 500 yards from the tender pier to board a RIB boat for an amazing morning or afternoon out on the water surrounding Nanortalik, just below the Arctic Circle.
A myriad of granddaddy icebergs form a habitat for a large variety of marine mammals -- seals, humpback whales and minke whales, as well as numerous seabird species. Keep an eye out for any and all of these fascinating creatures.
