The Landing Museum tells the story of the D-Day assault and the incredible courage of this remarkable mission.
Stop at a local restaurant for lunch, and in the afternoon, visit Omaha Beach, where some of the US troops landed in 1944.
A stop at the American Cemetery at St Laurent-sur-Mer allows time to wander among the rows of white crosses.
Re-board the coach and return to the ship in the late afternoon.
