The Royal Naval Dockyard has a rich maritime legacy and offers many activities and attractions.
Perhaps the best way to get an overview of this area is by wheeled trolley train. Pass through the Dockyard, head outside the complex, over bridges, through Somerset Village, and past Mangrove Bay and Cambridge Beaches Resort.
Highlights include Lagoon Park, the Royal Naval Cemetery and the Clock Tower Centre in the immediate Dockyard area.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so but must make their own way back to the ship.
Notes:
The train is a three-carriage wheeled trolley with forward- and rear-facing seating. No storage is available for walkers, collapsible wheelchairs, or baby strollers. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
