Meet your guide at the pier and walk across town to where the real adventures begins.
You'll set out on the trail that leads along the large lake behind the town. Your guide will tell you all about the Greenland's natural environment -- the vegetation, native and endemic animals, and how the lake is made by the Inland Ice Sheet.
Along the way, you'll stop to take photos and to inhale the marvelous fresh air of Greenland's great outdoors. Your constant companion is the all-encompassing silence of the Arctic landscape.
This pleasant hike in the Arctic offers a view of the tundra and majestic landscapes that are quite different in character from elsewhere.
