This accessible Alicante shore excursion explores the city's enchanting Old Town. It visits the Castle of Santa Barbara and the fascinating Hogueras Museum, with free time for shopping along the way.
Meet your knowledgeable guide and accessible van. As you ascend Mount Benacantil, you'll be treated to a scenic drive. At the summit, the legendary Castle of Santa Barbara awaits, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Head inside to be transported through time, experiencing centuries of grandeur, conflict, love, sorrow, and exile.
A 45-minute panoramic drive through Alicante brings you to the quaint Old Town, peppered with small white houses, narrow streets, and old buildings whose balconies are bedecked with flowers. Wander through the heart of the city, seeing several highlights, including the city's Town Hall and beautiful Cathedral.
Discover the fascinating Museo de Las Hogueras. Enjoy a short inside visit here, learning about the Hogueras de San Juan festival and admiring the craftsmanship in the typical costumes and intricate papier-maché figures.
