Set out by 4x4 vehicle from Ushuaia, heading north along National Road 3 to the Carbajal Valley.
Stop to take in the vast view before you head off-road for 45 minutes of off-road wilderness travel. This is a genuine adventure, and your experienced driver will take you to some very beautiful vantage points.
You'll also take a 20-minute walk through the woods and board a bus headed to the mountain refuge for a snack.
Your tour ends with a bus transfer back along Ushuaia Bay. A short detour brings you to Long Beach where you can take in the magnificent panoramic view of the city.
Notes:
Minimum age is 10 years. Tour does not operate on holidays. The mountain refuge is the halfway/swap-over point. It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion; outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf.
