Depart San Antonio by coach for Valparaíso city. You'll begin with a panoramic journey through the thriving downtown, hilly Old Town and on to the fashionable resort of Viña del Mar.
Entering Viña del Mar, you will see the landmark floral clock for which the resort is famous. Stop briefly to admire the exterior of the impressive 1930s casino, recently renovated and set among beautiful gardens.
Next is an enriching visit to the Fonck Museum, which boasts an extensive and interesting collection of objects from Easter Island and the Chilean mainland -- including a fine exhibit of Mapuche silver.
Continue to the Casablanca Valley for a visit to Puro Caballo -- a typical Chilean horse stable. Sip a Pisco Sour (the National Beverage) and eat a warm empanada -- a local specialty. Learn about the traditions of Chile's countryside and enjoy a demonstration of Chilean horsemanship performed by an authentic huaso (cowboy).
A well-deserved lunch awaits you at a local restaurant, where you will feast on typical Chilean dishes such as plateadas al horno (meat baked in an adobe oven).
Transfer by coach to Santiago Airport in time for your flight.
