As you journey into the history and culture of Valparaíso, seize this unparalleled opportunity to discover how a once small and insignificant coastal village has come to attain UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
You will begin at the old Customs building (1855), traversing the historic quarter for a stop at Plaza Sotomayor and the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique (1888).
Board the El Peral funicular, built in 1901, to climb one of the most significant hills in the region. At the top, you'll find the impressive collections within the Palacio Zanelli Fine Arts Museum, built in 1916.
You will also visit Astoreca Palace, dating back to 1923.
A panoramic drive through the city follows as your knowledgeable guide offers an informative commentary. Visit Villa Victoria, which houses the Valparaíso Heritage Interpretation Center. Engaging exhibits abound at this recently restored site, providing a deeper understanding of the region's commercial development.
Enjoy a snack, including a warm beverage, handmade pastries and a freshly prepared sandwich. Conclude your tour with a transfer to Santiago Airport.
