The Strait of Magellan is both famous and infamous. Today you will navigate this world-renowned waterway by sea kayak.
First, you will transfer approximately 17 miles south to the Agua Fresca Bay area by motorcoach. Once there, you will receive a short briefing on how to use your double kayak and how to paddle in tandem, along with safety instructions.
Start kayaking on the Strait of Magellan and get comfortable with your equipment and technique. During this adventurous ride, you will experience direct contact with nature and water, navigate among local birds such as seagulls, ducks, caiquenes, cormorants and quetros, and you may even be joined by the friendly Austral or Commerson's dolphins that seasonally migrate to this coastal area.
After approximately 1 hour to 1.25 hours approx. of kayaking, refreshments are served, and you’ll have a chance to change into your dry clothes before you return to the pier.
