Once you touch down in Puerto Natales, another local guide will greet you and accompany you to your hotel. Lunch is included and waiting for you at a delightful local restaurant.

After lunch, Arrive at the Remota Patagonia Lodge and settle in for a delightful three-night stay.

Day 2

Full Day Torres del Paine

Venture to the end of the world and witness the ever-changing marvels of nature. Your adventure begins with an early morning departure, heading toward the park – a UNESCO World Heritage site spanning over 242,000 hectares of pristine lakes, thundering waterfalls, majestic glaciers, and rugged mountain peaks.

As you explore this breathtaking landscape, mere words fail to capture the vivid blues and greens reflected in the lakes and waterfalls. Follow a wooden path to the awe-inspiring Salto Grande waterfall, where powerful gusts will remind you of nature’s force. Don’t forget your windbreaker! Around every curve, another bold masterpiece awaits – whether it’s wildlife or the imposing peaks.

After a satisfying lunch, take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Grey Lake, where iridescent blue icebergs create a mesmerizing spectacle. As you bid farewell to the park and return to Puerto Natales, the romantic beauty and rugged sturdiness of the world-famous Torres formations will leave an indelible mark on your soul.

Your itinerary includes a visit to Salto Grande waterfall, a delightful lunch at Pehoe, followed by a transfer to Grey Lake for a scenic hike, and finally, a return to your comfortable hotel.

Day 3

Full Day Grey Lake Navigation + short hike

Your day begins with a transfer from your hotel in Puerto Natales, where you’ll be transferred to Hotel Lago Grey. Check-in for the boat ride must be completed one hour before departure. To board the boat, you’ll walk across a suspension bridge that leads to the shores of Lago Grey.

Once aboard the boat, prepare for an awe-inspiring journey. Over the course of an hour, sail through milky waters surrounded by icebergs until you reach the colossal Grey Glacier – one of the largest in the region and a part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, one of the world’s largest water reserves. Take your time to admire the glacier’s deep blue hues and intricate crevasses during the approximately one-hour stay in front of this icy giant.

Afterward, return to the dock and savor a delicious lunch. Following your meal, embark on a short hike in the nearby area. Keep in mind that this excursion is subject to weather conditions. Finally, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for the night.

Day 4

Transfer from Puerto Natales to Calafate, Argentina

Transfer from Puerto Natales to El Calafate, Argentina – a direct journey that ensures your comfort and convenience. Enjoy a boxed lunch on the way.

El Calafate, a charming village nestled on the banks of Lake Argentino, derives its name from the Patagonian calafate berry. According to legend, those who consume these berries are destined to return to this enchanting region. The picturesque streets of El Calafate are adorned with beautiful trees and colorful gardens, creating an oasis amidst the rugged Patagonian landscape. As the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park, El Calafate offers awe-inspiring scenery – a blend of lakes, mountains, and glaciers best explored through various boat tour options.

The star attraction is the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the few remaining advancing glaciers in the world. Walkways and balconies provide easy access to this natural wonder, as it grinds its way down the Andes range into a branch of the enormous Lake Argentino. For the more adventurous, a trekking experience awaits on its millennia-old ice field.

Meet your local guide in the hotel lobby for a 4x4 journey along the shores of Lake Argentino. Covering 20 kilometers, this route offers magnificent views of the Andes range from cliff-top vantage points. Frequent photographic stops allow passengers to immerse themselves in the indigenous flora and fauna, while also uncovering the legacy of the Tehuelche people through cave paintings.

Explore the millennia-old caves along the lake’s edge, where traces of Tehuelche culture remain as faithful witnesses of the past. The journey culminates with a memorable dinner inside a vast cave.

Check-in at Posada Los Alamos in El Calafate, every area has been thoughtfully designed for your utmost enjoyment. The Guatti-Girometti family personally curated the decor, filling the space with precious objects that reflect both the region’s history and their own heritage. With 144 rooms, including four Junior suites offering privileged views of the gardens or the Andes, Posadas Los Alamos is conveniently located near Main Street and the commercial center of El Calafate.

Day 5

Begin your day by departing from your hotel, filled with anticipation to witness the breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier. This glacier, one of the last advancing glaciers globally, stands as a unique ice field due to its accessibility, steady state, and dramatic ice breaks. As you admire its grandeur, observe how the interplay of light creates fascinating shades of blue, while the echoing cracks of moving ice set the stage for massive ice falls.

Driving along Route Eleven, you’ll experience a transition from the barren steppe to the lush Andean-Patagonian forest. Here, ‘high and low deciduous beech,’ white oak, cinnamon trees, and other species thrive. Among them, the vibrant ‘fire bush’ stands out with its deep red hue. Once you enter the National Park, these species become even more pronounced.

Next, embark on a shared boat from Puerto Moreno, located near the walkways. Cruise along the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, reveling in its breathtaking splendor and magnificence. The privileged view from the boat allows you to appreciate this natural wonder to the fullest. Your knowledgeable guide will provide scientifically accurate insights into the crystal blue ice phenomenon.

Afterward, indulge in a delightful lunch at Nativos Restaurant.

The highlight of your day awaits as you explore the panoramic catwalks. Divided into three circuits – Low, Coast, and Central – these walkways offer various resting points and panoramic balconies. Take your time during the two-hour walk, marveling at the overwhelming size of this ‘living’ mass. Covering a staggering 257 square kilometers (99 square miles), the Perito Moreno Glacier’s ice field surface leaves an indelible impression.

Finally, transfer back to your hotel

Day 6

On your final day, bid farewell and transfer from your hotel to El Calafate airport (FTE). Your friendly local host will be there to assist you with the flight check-in procedures, ensuring a smooth boarding process for your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arriving at the airport, you’ll be transferred to the pier, where you’ll rejoin your ship.
