Day 1 (L/D) Lima – Quito
Upon arrival at the port, our friendly local representative will warmly greet you. Once we’ve completed the necessary formalities, we’ll board a comfortable coach for a direct transfer to Lima Airport. The scenic drive from Callao Port to Lima Airport takes approximately 45 minutes. We’ll then board our international flight to Quito
Nestled at the base of the majestic 15,696-foot Volcan Pichincha, Quito boasts a delightful, spring-like climate year-round. This enchanting city, originally settled by the Quitu tribe and later integrated into the Inca Empire, was re-founded in 1534 by Spanish Conquistador Sebastian de Benalcazar. Quito’s rich history is beautifully preserved in its colonial center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where art and culture flourished under Spanish rule.
Upon arrival at Quito Airport, collect your luggage and meet our tour representative. You’ll transfer to downtown Quito for a captivating walking tour of the historic center. Discover why Quito was the first city to be honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the stunning San Francisco Church, the opulent La Compañía with its gold-gilded walls, and the vibrant Independence Plaza, flanked by the Presidential Palace and the Cathedral of Quito. The historic center, with its art treasures, exquisite woodcarvings, and blooming balconies, is the heart and soul of Quito.
After our tour, it’s time to indulge in a delicious lunch at a charming local restaurant, where you can savor the flavors of Ecuadorian cuisine.
Finally, we’ll drive to our hotel for check-in. Enjoy a relaxing evening, and later, dinner will be served at the hotel.

Upon landing in Coca, meet the lodge’s representative and continue by car to the dock. Here, we’ll board a motor canoe for a scenic two-hour journey down the Napo River, spotting magnificent birds like herons and kingfishers along the way.
Arriving at the edge of the property, we’ll embark on a picturesque 30-minute hike through the lush rainforest to Laguna Pilchicocha. Members of the local Quichua indigenous community will greet us and paddle us across the serene lake to the lodge.
Upon arrival at the lodge, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, a brief orientation, and a delicious lunch. Take some time to rest before diving into the afternoon’s activities.
