Your adventure begins with a motorcoach transfer to the airport in Buenos Aires, where you will board a flight to the awe-inspiring Iguazu Falls, located at the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. These Falls are one of nature's most impressive achievements -- the locals call them Big Waters, but you'll call them simply unforgettable as you explore the Argentine side of Iguazu.
Comprised of a spectacular display of 250 giant cascades twice the height of Niagara Falls, Iguazu Falls plunges over hard granite to a gorge 260 feet below. Nature's incredible power is revealed in the thunderous roar of crashing water and in the magic of the rainbow-colored mist that rises from the cliffs. This is your chance to see firsthand this Wonder of the World. You will ride the train to Devil's Throat and take a guided walk covering approximately one mile to view the falls.
Time permitting, you'll take in another spectacular falls panorama from the famous Superior Circuit Trail.
Transfer back to the airport, returning to Buenos Aires by air. You will be back on the ship by evening.
Notes:
Cancellation Policy:
92 Days prior to arrival in the excursion port. This excursion is non-refundable within 92 days of arrival into the excursion port. Any cancellations made after this deadline will be subject to full payment of the tour. This will include if a guest cancels their voyage within 92 days of arrival into the excursion port.
Total time within Iguazu National Park is 4 to 5 hours, with total viewing time of the falls being approximately one hour. Depending on the flight schedule, lunch or a boxed lunch and/or dinner is included. Bring your passport, light rainwear and insect repellent. Be prepared for crowding at the site. Mist from the falls will settle on your clothing and make it damp, so bring extra clothes. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour operates subject to meeting a minimum number of participants. Depending upon the type of aircraft used, tour duration will be 12-14 hours, at times can be up to 17 hours. The tour duration may vary due to official flight schedules. Only soft drinks will be served on the flights. Flight duration is approx. 1 ½ hours each way. Guests using a wheelchair may be able to participate with certain requirements, restrictions and limitations. These include being able to negotiate gangway steps unassisted, embarking and disembarking the motorcoach unassisted via steps, and boarding the aircraft unassisted (also via steps) without delaying the tour schedule. At Iguazu Falls, private guides may be available to provide a customized visit for guests with mobility limitations; however, if you choose to engage such a guide, it will be at your own expense, and some areas of the falls will still not be accessible to you; please see the Shore Excursions team on board the ship to make such arrangements.
Important: It is each guest's sole responsibility to obtain (before traveling) any visas, vaccinations and/or tourist cards required for participating in tours unless noted otherwise in the description.
