Embark on an exhilarating kayaking journey through the stunning natural beauty of Alter do Chão. Your adventure begins with a safety briefing.
Then, pair up in a double kayak and set off across the calm, scenic waters of Lago Verde, surrounded by the lush Amazon rainforest. Accompanied by two experienced guides — one leading the way and the other ensuring the group stays together — you'll paddle for approximately 1 to 1½ hours, depending on the river current.
Your destination is the Enchanted Forest, a magical, flooded woodland teeming with biodiversity and natural wonder. Take a short break to rest and refresh at a local restaurant.
The return journey is by motorboat, offering a relaxing ride back to the pier. A bottle of mineral water is provided.
Notes:
This is a very strenuous activity, suitable only for guests in excellent physical condition and comfortable with extended periods of paddling. Participants must know how to kayak; not suitable for beginners. Tour duration will vary depending on the river's current. Minimum age is 18 years; maximum age is 50 years. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Devices such as smart phones, AirPods, cameras, etc., and valuables must be stored in a sealable, waterproof dry bag or left on board the ship. The tour operator assumes no responsibility for such items. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
