Depart Quépos on a 1¼-hour panoramic drive by air-conditioned motorcoach. You will pass through the rural town of El Silencio and see teak and Melina plantations en route.
You'll stop briefly to look for toucans and macaws; then, continue toward the town of Santo Domingo, where a group of qualified bilingual guides await you.
The next part of your adventure is an amazing two-hour river float. Your personable guide offers an orientation to the river and its natural environment, which is considered one of the most beautiful rivers of Central America. The scenery and wildlife along the Rio Savegre are legendary, your opportunity to enjoy beautiful landscapes, including some native African oil palm plantations, white ibis, cormorants, egrets, and herons. You'll have times of exhilarating action and times of relaxation.
