This is an excursion for those that love horseback riding — possibly the perfect vantage point from which to appreciate the scenery of Costa Rica and the history of Quépos.
Transfer to Londres and to a picturesque stables property with restrooms, a corral, and an open-air briefing area. Listen to riding instructions and safety tips, and enjoy some practice time before heading out to explore the rainforest with your trusty steed.
Uncover the secrets of the secondary rainforest as you ascend to an elevation of 1,900 feet, riding through the mountains with amazing valley views, verdant vegetation, and numerous wildlife species such as birds and reptiles.
At the end of the trail, swim in the beautiful waterfall or relax on the grass.
Return to the base by the same trail with a refreshing beer and Costa Rica-style barbecue lunch awaiting you.Notes:
The horse ride lasts about 2½ hours round trip.
