Ready to stir up some mud and get thoroughly splashed? Great! Hop on a Honda buggy-type 4x4 and ride through the forest on this unforgettable adventure.
Transfer by air-conditioned minibus to Punta Leona, where your 4x4 awaits you. Listen to some safety information and take an easy test drive; then, for the next hour, cross rivers and creeks, drive through mud and across sand banks, and appreciate sightings of some of Costa Rica's amazing wildlife en route to Playa Agujas.
Wind down with riverside and rain forest trails as you descend towards isolated Bochinche Beach. Enjoy a refreshing snack and beverage and enjoy some free time surrounded by lush forest and ocean vistas.
Return to base and switch drivers for round two of this fabulous, fun and filthy 4x4 foray.
Notes:
No prior 4x4 experience required. Drivers must carry a current driver's license. Vehicle capacity is 4 guests. One person from each couple will get to drive. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Average speed is 16 mph. You will get muddy and wet. Vehicles ride caravan style behind the lead vehicle.
