The Aerial Treetop Flight Tram offers an amazing opportunity to enjoy Costa Rica's only tropical forest. This fantastic private reserve has won Costa Rica's prestigious Ministry of Environment Blue Ecological Flag Award as well as the Ministry of Tourism's highest recognition for sustainability.
Hop into a comfortable gondola with a maximum of only eight passengers. The one-hour treetop ride is your chance to take in the surroundings in the company of a bilingual naturalist guide who points out plants and lifeforms usually hidden in this lush tropical paradise.
This is also one of the few areas in Costa Rica where spectacular scarlet macaws sometimes are seen soaring above the treetops or sitting in a tree.
Next, a guided nature walk on an all-access path exposes the first layer of the forest floor. A video presentation complements your adventure in the extraordinary world of the dry forest and explains how this project was created.
Visit the Butterfly Garden, the Medicinal & Aromatic Plants Garden and the terrariums with a variety of snakes, frogs, turtles and caimans.
Your excursion includes a traditional Costa Rican lunch of local cuisine at the Nature Café. Any spare time you may have may be spent at the Congo Gift Shop, where you can find a variety of local and handmade arts, crafts and designs as well as Costa Rican souvenirs.
Notes:
Tour requires approximately one hour of walking. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
