Board an air-conditioned motorcoach for a 75-minute scenic drive to the Auto Chapin open-air nature park.
Upon arrival, you will stop at the entrance for a brief orientation. Take a written guide to the nature park for some detailed information. A relaxing ride through the park offers views of hippopotamus, giraffes, lions, zebras, and many other animals from Africa and Guatemala.
Walk about to discover the area that is more like a regular zoo and view other animals, birds, and reptiles found in Guatemala and around the world.
A refreshing soft drink is served in the pavilion before you transfer back to the ship.
Notes:
Park regulations prohibit stepping outside the vehicle during the safari. As the vehicle is air-conditioned, the windows do not open. Tour does not operate on Mondays or Tuesdays. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
