Transfer about one hour to El Paredon Beach — a new beach area that is fast becoming synonymous with surfing on Guatemala's Pacific coastline.
The beach at Cerveceria 14 offers a wonderful setup, including freshwater pools adjacent to the black-sand beach.
At lunchtime, enjoy an item from our daily menu and an open bar with your meal. The open bar allows you to taste the brewery's craft beers or order a different drink of your choice. The menu varies seasonally, but always features a diverse selection to suit most tastes.
After lunch, enjoy free time to relax around the pool or on the beach. If you wish, you can order additional food or beverages (at your own expense) before heading back to the pier. You may also elect to book a two-person palapa by the pool upon arrival, subject to availability (at your own expense).
Notes:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. The beach is not suitable for swimming due to strong rip currents. There is no lifeguard on duty. Minimum age to drink alcohol is 21 years. Traffic can be unpredictable; your patience is greatly appreciated if a delay shortens the time at the beach. Bring local currency or credit cards for purchases.
