A short coach ride brings you to My Time Butterfly Garden -- a magical place where you will learn about the wonderful world of butterflies and tropical plants.
There are more than 30 different species of butterfly in the enclosed observatory. This environment is specially designed to replicate their natural habitat. Learn about their life cycle, their importance in the ecosystem and their relationship with plants.
Specialized guides lead you through the flower gardens, sharing their vast knowledge and information. Keep an eye out for magnificent butterflies going about their day, with a good chance of seeing them in all their natural activities. In the laboratory, observe butterflies emerging from their chrysalis or in the larval stage of their growth cycle.
Take a guided walk along the easy trails of the botanic garden, with many different tropical plant species.
Enjoy a taste of delicious tropical fruit before returning to the ship.
Notes:
Terrain includes gravel and uneven trails, and paved pathways. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring insect repellent. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
