Experience the thrill of a canopy tour without missing out on the tropical forest's rich wildlife. An innovative Tranopy (like a modified ski lift) ride combines the in-depth forest view of an aerial tram with the excitement of a canopy tour.
A professional naturalist guide, pointing out some of the secrets of the surrounding primary and secondary tropical forests. You'll experience the tropical forest's different layers, from the floor to the treetops, as you silently glide through the colorful, complex beauty of the tropical forest canopy. The 30-minute tram ride takes you through the forest and over tumbling cascades. It drops you off at the beginning of the canopy zip-line part of your adventure.
There are multiple zip-line cables -- five of which are more than 200 yards long (two city blocks). The fifth cable is the longest, stretching an impressive 316 yards over the rain forest. To your right is the dense tropical forest; to your left is a sweeping view of the valley all the way to the shimmering Pacific Ocean. Almost a mile of cable will take you through rich tropical forest ecosystems and sweeping views high above the forest floor.
Your guide is a tremendous asset here. While you wait on the platforms between zip-line cables, your guide brings the forest to life from an expert naturalist's perspective.
