Visit the Sky Walk in the Forest, consisting of several trails and three cable bridges.
Set out on a one-hour, moderate-to-strenuous downhill walk affording breathtaking coastline views. Along the way, you'll likely see the birds and animals that make their homes in the treetops. More than 120 bird species have been identified here, as well as kinkajou, agoutis and coatis.
Next, reboard your motorcoach to visit the famous El Jardin Souvenir Shopping Plaza -- a well-stocked souvenir store. A snack of fresh fruit and water will replenish some of the energy you left behind in the forest.
Heading back to the ship, you'll have great memories of this chance to stretch your legs in a completely different environment.
Notes:
Wear sturdy walking shoes. A considerable amount of walking is required, and the trails may be muddy, as it frequently rains here. Minimum height is 5 feet. Minimum age is 8 years. Not suitable for guests with heart or respiratory conditions due to heat, humidity, and activity level. Terrain includes three hanging bridges and uneven trails. Wear light clothing, insect repellent and sunscreen. Bring raingear. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
