Treetopia Park is located in Monteverde -- one of the world's most recognized cloud forests -- and is acclaimed as one of the planet's most outstanding wildlife refuges. Monteverde's variable climate and high elevation fosters an extremely high biodiversity. More than 100 mammal species call this park home, in addition to 400 bird species, thousands of insect species, and around 2500 plant species, including widest variety of orchids in the world.
Your adventure begins with a ride on the Aerial Tram, whose gondolas rise smoothly through the cloud forest, offering seemingly endless views during the mountainous ascent. It's a different perspective on admiring nature, without much physical effort. A bilingual guide points out the different characteristics of the flora and fauna.
Continue to the Sky Walk combining trails and four suspension bridges above the canopy of Monteverde cloud forest. This is a relaxed introduction to the flora and fauna of the forest canopy from the vantage point of the treetops.
Transfer to a local restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious Costa Rican-style buffet lunch before you return to the ship.
