Wake your senses with this excursion into the heart of Ecuador’s coffee country.
You'll leave the pier on a panoramic drive to La Prosperina, a coffee farm located about 50 miles from Manta.
As you walk around the property with your guide, you will get a closer look at the 5 varieties of Arabica coffee plants they have.
You will learn about the traditional methods of growing, harvesting, drying and toasting this product, and you will participate in the selection of the beans to be roasted.
While the coffee is being prepared, you will take a short walk to a platform where you can relax and enjoy a corn and cheese tortilla with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
After the tasting, a barista will show guests the different ways to enjoy the coffee available at the hacienda.
Some typical Costeño sweets will be served before returning to the pier.
